My Chilli Plot

by Ashley Girle
(Brisbane)

Chilli Man

Chilli Man

These chillis are from my little chilli plot at home, i brought 3 plants for under $10 from bunnings and they've all produced fruit within 3 months! The other trees in my plot have been in for about 2 years, the main plant in the middle produces between 10-20 fruits per week, I pluck the reddest fruits once a week. The orange habaneros are HOT, the little piquins aren't to be taken for granted either, I love the colour this plant has when it has soon many different coloured fruits on it, they are also lots of fun at parties because people don't believe they're as hot as they are, and beer doesn't help cool the heat either. I'll email the rest of my photos without text. Happy chilli growing people, keep the fire in your belly.
