Chilli Con Carne

In your Reipe book number 2 there is a recipe for Chilli Con Carne I would like to try, however, the recipe tells when to add the Red Kidney Beans but they are not listed in the ingrediants. Are they dried Or canned? If canned Drained and rinsed or not? what quantity?
